Cleaning Fluids Novec fluid 71DE is an excellent cleaning, rinsing and drying agent. Its increased solvency, low surface tension, nonflammability and constant composition during boiling make it ideal for immersion and vapor degreasing, and for medium-duty cleaning of soils such as oils, greases and waxes. What's more, 71DE fluid is low in toxicity, non-ozone-depleting, has a low global warming potential, and is listed as "acceptable without restrictions" under the U.S. EPA's Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) program.
